Telangana Launches Rs. 12,000 Crore Road Development Plan

The Telangana government has unveiled a Rs. 12,000 crore road plan to boost connectivity. The R&B department will build 5,190 km of roads for Rs. 6,478 crore, while Panchayat and Rural Development will upgrade 7,947 km for Rs. 6,000 crore. Projects will be executed under the hybrid annuity model, combining government and private funding. Roads will link villages, mandals, districts, and Hyderabad through four-lane highways and rural upgrades. By December, tenders for an additional 6,810 km will be invited.
