Thiruvananthapuram gas network to finish by 2028

Thiruvananthapuram city gas project, led by THINK Gas, is set to complete its piped gas network by December 2028. So far, 591 km of pipelines have been laid with Rs. 700 crore investment, connecting 16,730 households and 33 businesses. Additionally, 22 CNG stations are operational, with more planned. The project includes a high-capacity LCNG plant at Thonnakkal and uses trenchless drilling technology to reduce road disruption, aiming for 13,000 new household connections in the coming year.
