Tirupati Luxury Hotel Project Receives Site Approval

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved a land swap enabling the Oberoi Groups luxury hotel project in Tirupati. The earlier 35-acre site near Alipiri, allotted in January 2023, was cancelled in March 2025 after public opposition. The new plan exchanges 24.68 acres of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority land with 25 acres of TTD land at Peruru, on the AlipiriCherlopalli road. This approval clears the way for construction to commence at the relocated site.
