TP Solar to double capacity of Tamil Nadu manufacturing facility

TP Solar Limited

TP Solar, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy, plans to expand its solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Currently the largest in India at a single location with a 4.3 GW capacity, the plant was built in two years with an investment of Rs. 4,300 crore.
