UPPCL approves Rs. 144 crore power upgrade in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) has cleared a Rs. 144 crore infrastructure upgrade for the Amausi Zone under its 2025–26 Business Plan to enhance electricity reliability in Lucknow. The project covers construction of four substations, installation of 671 transformers ranging from 25 kVA to 400 kVA, and development of a new 33 kV transmission line. Targeted areas include Vrindavan, Alambagh, Kanpur Road, Mohanlalganj, Nadarganj, Dubagga, and Malihabad, benefitting over 5.5 lakh residents through reduced outages and stable supply.
