Urban Water Supply Project Nearing Completion in Shahapur,

Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWS&DB)

A drinking water project in Shahapur city, Yadgir district, is nearing completion and set for inauguration in August under AMRUT 2.0. Implemented by the Drinking Water Supply and Sewage Board, the project sources water from the Bhima river via the Sannati barrage and delivers it through an 18-km pipeline to a city filtration unit. Two 15-lakh-litre tanks will support household tap supply.
