Uttar Pradesh Government Greenlights Rs 16,000 Crore Rapid Rail Corridor for Swift Delhi Airport Connectivity

The Uttar Pradesh government has granted approval for a new rapid rail corridor linking Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) and the upcoming Jewar Airport in Noida. This ambitious Rs 16,000 crore project aims to significantly cut travel time between the two airports, bringing it down to a mere 80 minutes. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is currently working on the detailed project report, slated for completion by March.
