Uttarakhand Plans Rs 7,708 Crore Project to Transform Tehri Lake into Water and Aero Sports Hub

The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council is formulating a detailed project report for the development of Tehri Lake and its surroundings, with an estimated cost of Rs 7,708 crore. The project aims to promote water and aero sports activities, potentially creating job opportunities for over 80,000 people in 173 nearby villages. A key element involves the construction of a ring road around Tehri Lake. Proposed developments include clusters in Koti Colony, New Tehri, Tiwar Village, Dobra Chanti, Tehri Lake, and Madan Negi.
