Vadhvan Port Project Limited has announced the invitation for bids for near shore reclamation and shore protection works, marking a significant milestone in the development of a new deep-water port at Vadhvan, near Dahanu in Maharashtra’s Palghar district. The works, valued at ?1,700 crore, will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode. The mega port is expected to be built on 1,448 hectares of reclaimed land at a total projected cost of ?76,220 crore.
