Varad Ferro Alloys is seeking environmental clearance for the installation of a large-scale integrated plant. The proposed facility includes a 3×600 TPD (6,12,000 TPA) Sponge Iron Plant, 8×25 T (6,66,000 TPA) Induction Furnace, 80 T (6,66,000 TPA) Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), and multiple rolling mills with capacities ranging from 300,000 TPA to 360,000 TPA for various products. The project also includes the setup of a 40 MW WHRB, 40 MW (AFBC) Thermal Power Plant, 4x9MVA Submerged Arc Furnace, along with forging, pickling, and bright bar production facilities. The unit is located at Mudholi Chak No.2, Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra.
