Welspun Enterprises Wins Contract for Water Conveyance Tunnel

Welspun Enterprises has secured a contract from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to design and construct a tertiary treated water conveyance tunnel between the Dharavi and Ghatkopar Wastewater Treatment Facilities (WWTF). The project includes the construction of two deep shafts and an 8.48 km in-situ concrete-lined tunnel with a 2.7-meter finished diameter, utilizing tunnel boring machine (TBM) technology. The completion is targeted within 93 months.
