WRD Invites Bids for Dehra Dam Project in Sagar
Water Resources Department, Madhya Pradesh
The Water Resources Department, Madhya Pradesh, plans to construct the Dehra Dam on Dehra Nala, a tributary of the Bina River, with a gross capacity of 72.36 MCM, in Sagar district. The turnkey project includes Semraghat weir on the Dhasan River, a 4 MW powerhouse, feeder channel, and associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works. The project spans 36 months and involves 1,034 hectares of submergence. The bids were recently invited in this regard.
