12 River Bridges Completed for Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train

The construction of 12 river bridges for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has been completed, including the recent completion of the 120-meter-long bridge over the Kharera River in Navsari district on October 29, 2024. This achievement marks the completion of all nine river bridges between Vapi and Surat. The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is executing the project which spans 352 km in Gujarat and 156 km in Maharashtra, with 12 stations planned across major cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
