Rs. 1600 crore coastal road project construction begins

City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO)

Construction has commenced work on Navi Mumbai’s Kharghar Coastal Road Project. The contract is awarded to J Kumar Infraprojects. The six-lane corridor spanning about 9.6–9.8 km will incorporate stilt sections designed to protect mangrove ecosystems and is targeted for completion between 2028 and 2029.
