2.0 MTPA Iron Ore Mining and Crushing Units Proposed at Dholtapahar Block in Odisha

Mining of iron ore is proposed at the Dholtapahar Iron Ore Block for a production capacity of 2.0 MTPA, along with installation of a 750 TPH crushing unit and a 650 TPH screening unit at Sarkanda Reserve Forest over an area of 60.508 hectares under Koira Tehsil, Sundargarh District, Odisha. The Government of Odisha had issued the NIT on 07.07.2021 for auction of the block under the Mineral Auction Rules, 2015. The mining project is at the environmental clearance stage.
