HMB Ispat has proposed the expansion of its existing steel plant by installing 2×500 TPD DRI Kilns, 8×20 T Induction Furnaces with matching LRF & CCM, 1×10 T AOD and 1×10 T VOD units, and a 1×20 TPH capacity Slag Crusher Unit. The expansion will also include 5 x 9 MVA Submerged Arc Furnaces, a 1×0.55 MTPA Rolling Mill with a 1×30 TPH Re-heating Furnace (standby), and 2×4000 Nm3/hr Producer Gas Plants (standby). Additionally, a new 60,000 TPA Galvanizing Unit and a 30 MW Captive Power Plant (comprising 24 MW WHRB and 6 MW AFBC) will be part of the expansion,
