Sponge Iron Expansion Project in Bankura District

M B Ispat Corporation has proposed expansion of its sponge iron plant located at Village and P.S. Barjora, District Bankura, West Bengal. The project involves increasing sponge iron production capacity from 60,000 TPA to 120,000 TPA through the addition of a 200 TPD DRI kiln alongside the existing two 100 TPD DRI kilns. The company has applied for environmental clearance for the proposed expansion.
