K-RIDE Unveils India’s Longest Precast U-Girder

K-RIDE, a joint venture of the Ministry of Railways and the Karnataka government, has successfully launched India’s longest 31-metre-long, single-span precast U-girder for the Mallige Line of the Bengaluru Suburban Railway Project (BSRP). Cast in January 2024 at Gollahalli, the U-girder was recently installed at Yeshwantpur as part of the ongoing construction of the Baiyappanahalli-Chikkabanavara line.
