Indian Railways Advancing 42 Projects in Gujarat

Indian Railways is progressing with 42 projects in Gujarat, including 6 new lines, 22 gauge conversions, and 14 doubling initiatives, covering 2,947 km at a cost of ?30,826 crore. As of March 2024, 826 km have been commissioned, with ?9,336 crore spent. These projects are at various stages of planning and implementation, contributing to the expansion and modernization of the railway network in the state. Once completed, these initiatives will significantly improve connectivity and operational efficiency.
