BBMP to Develop Road Along Vrishabhavathi River

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is set to construct a road along the Vrishabhavathi River to reduce traffic congestion and enhance infrastructure. The project aims to develop the river’s surrounding buffer zones while addressing encroachments and preventing sewage discharge into the water. Land for the road will be acquired through transferable development rights (TDR), and additional work includes building a flyover-like structure over the rajakaluve (stormwater drain) to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
