The Ramco Cement Limited is seeking environmental clearance for the expansion of its Ramasamy Raja Nagar Cement Plant. The expansion involves the inclusion of revamped Old Line-II operations to the existing Lines I & III, increasing operational days from 320 to 345 days. This will enhance clinker production capacity from 1.44 MTPA to 2.76 MTPA and cement production capacity from 2.70 MTPA to 4.00 MTPA at villages Tulukkappatti, Thammanayakkanpatti, and Vachchakarapatti, Taluk & District Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu.
