Giridhan Metal Private Limited proposes the expansion of its Integrated Steel Plant at Jamuria Industrial Estate, Village Ikra & Damodarpur, Tehsil Jamuria, District Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The expansion includes increasing the production capacities for Sponge Iron, MS Billets, Rolling Mill, and Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) for various alloys. Additionally, it involves the installation of a proposed Electric Arc Furnace, Captive Power Plant expansion from 42 MW to 102 MW, including Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) from 21 MW to 81 MW, with an additional installation of a 60 MW WHRB.
