Delhi-Jammu Railway Corridor project advances with land acquisition

The 600 km Delhi-Jammu Railway Corridor project has progressed with land acquisition starting in Punjab and Haryana. The project aims to enhance interstate connectivity, improve regional economies, and modernize railway infrastructure. The final survey layout has been submitted, and the corridor will reduce travel time and ease congestion between Delhi, Ambala, Jalandhar, and Jammu. Preliminary work is underway, with final approval pending from the Railway Board.
