Gujarat Approves Funds for Kalupur Railway Station Redevelopment
Railway Land Development Authority (RLDA)
Gujarat Government has approved Rs. 220 crore for the redevelopment of Kalupur Railway Station, including the modernisation of the Kalupur and Sarangpur railway overbridges. The Rs. 440 crore project, funded jointly with the Railway Land Development Authority and under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Urban Development Scheme, aims to enhance safety and extend the lifespan of the bridges. The Kalupur overbridge currently has three lanes, while the Sarangpur overbridge has two lanes.
