HD India Iron and Coal Power proposes a Greenfield steel plant at Ameriakbari village, Bilha tehsil, Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh. The project includes sponge iron (1,81,500 TPA), MS billets (2,32,850 TPA), and rerolled steel products (2,25,860 TPA), along with a ferro alloys unit (34,000 TPA max). It also features a 24 MW captive power plant (12 MW WHRB and 12 MW AFBC), a 1.2 MTPA coal washery, and a 37,500 TPA fly ash brick/block plant.
