Hmb Steel is seeking environmental clearance for the installation of 2×500 TPD DRI kilns, 8×20 T induction furnaces with matching ladle refining furnace (LRF) and continuous casting machine (CCM), and 1×10 T AOD & 1×10 T VOD at Palitpur and Saraitikar Village, Purba Bardhaman District, West Bengal. The project will also include 1×20 TPH capacity slag crusher unit and 5×9 MVA capacity submerged arc furnaces.
