Jindal India) to Set Up Steel Plant in Odisha

Jindal (India) has received HLCA approval to establish a greenfield steel manufacturing plant in Odisha with an initial investment of Rs. 3,600 crore. The project will be developed in three phases, totaling Rs. 15,000 crore by 2030. The facility will produce 9.6 lakh tonnes of special coated steel annually and include a Cold Rolling Mill, Continuous Galvanizing Line, and Colour Coating Line. Phase one is slated for commissioning by 2027, enhancing the state’s steel production capacity.
