PM Launches ?18,600 Cr Projects in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 105 development projects worth over ?18,600 crore in Bhubaneswar on 20 June 2025, covering sectors like water, healthcare, roads, highways, and railways. Key highlights include the first passenger train to Boudh, new railway lines, and 100 electric buses under CRUT. Modi also unveiled the Odisha Vision Document targeting a $500 billion economy by 2036 and $1.5 trillion by 2047. The Baraputra Aitihya Gram Yojana was launched to develop heritage sites at the birthplaces of Odia icons.
