BMC Seeks Partners for Textile Museum at Byculla Mill Site

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from public companies, charitable trusts, or societies to develop and maintain a textile museum at the India United Mill No. 2 & 3 site in Byculla (East), Mumbai. Spread across 44,000 sq. mtrs. at Kalachowky, the museum will be developed without BMC funding, under a 20-year operation and maintenance model. Estimated to cost Rs 80–100 crore, the CSR-driven project will also feature murals, an amphitheatre, and a musical fountain. The submission deadline is July 28 at the BMC Fort office.
