Odisha Clears MRO Facility Proposal at Bhubaneswar International Airport

The Odisha Cabinet approves an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar. To be developed by AirWorks India (Engineering), the project marks the first major MRO in eastern India under the state’s MAAN scheme to enhance aviation infrastructure. The state has cleared an incentive package worth over Rs. 80 crore, including a 50 percent capital investment subsidy, rental support, and employee benefit reimbursements.
