Unaprime Acquires Lokmanya Hospitals in Rs.140 Crore Expansion Move

Unaprime Healthcare has acquired an 84.5% stake in Pune-based Lokmanya Hospitals for Rs. 140 crore, aiming to transform it into a multi-speciality quaternary care network. Plans include expanding bed capacity from 300 to 800 across four Pune hospitals and forming surgical partnerships in Mumbai and Kolhapur. An additional Rs. 80–100 crore will be invested to scale operations. The initiative is backed by Unaprime Investment Advisors and healthcare veterans, focusing on advanced treatment and modern healthcare delivery.
