Adani Power Proposes Rs.25,000 Crore Thermal Plant Project in Bhagalpur

Adani Power has secured an LoI from Bihar State Power Generation Company to set up a 2,400 MW coal-based thermal power plant in Bhagalpur. Based on the DBFOO model, the 3×800 MW ultra-supercritical project will supply power to NBPDCL and SBPDCL, with coal sourced under the SHAKTI policy. The first unit is due in 48 months, full completion in 60 months, creating up to 12,000 jobs during construction.
