Bihar Land Acquisition Approved for Gaya Airport Expansion

The Bihar Cabinet clears Rs. 137.17 crore for land acquisition to expand Gaya airport and install a Category I Instrument Landing System. Spread across 18 acres, the project will improve safety by enabling aircraft landings in poor visibility caused by fog, smog, or low clouds. Once operational, the facility will transform Gaya airport into an all-weather aviation hub, enhancing both regional and international connectivity for Bihar.
