NHAI targets December 2025 completion of highway stretch

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI is undertaking the four-laning of the 36 km Thirumangalam – Vadugapatti stretch under NH-744 in Tamil Nadu. The project, launched in March 2023, includes 16 vehicular underpasses and two pedestrian subways at accident-prone locations. Work faced delays due to land acquisition but is now scheduled for completion by December 2025.
