BMRCL to prepare DPR for Bengaluru–Tumakuru metro extension

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL)

BMRCL has been directed to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Bengaluru–Tumakuru metro extension under a PPP model. The 59.6 km corridor will link Madavara on the Green Line to Tumakuru. BMRCL’s DPR will address alignment design, station planning, elevated and underground engineering, ridership assessment, cost estimation, financing strategy, and implementation scheduling. Several private developers have shown investment interest.
