Development of 4-Lane Elevated Stretch at Kaziranga

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI plans to construct an 86 km 4-lane elevated corridor at Kaziranga in Assam under the EPC mode. The land requirement includes Required: 343.4 Ha, Available: 76 Ha, and To be acquired: 267.3 Ha, with acquisition progress at 3A 0%, 3D 0%, 3G 0%, 3H 0%. Environmental clearance is not required, while Forest clearance is completed. Railway clearance is in progress with the concept plan submitted, site visit done, GAD submission pending, and Railway approval awaited. Wildlife clearance is completed, and Waterway clearance is not required.
