Development of Pagote Chowk Section of NH-348B

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)

NHAI plans to undertake the PagoteChowk development project on NH-348B in Maharashtra under the BOT mode, spanning 29 km. Land requirement includes 175.9 Ha, with none available yet and the entire amount to be acquired. Acquisition progress stands at 3A 100%, 3D 78%, 3G 0%, 3H 0%. Environmental clearance is progressing with ToR and EIA completed and public hearing done, while MoEF approval is pending. Forest clearance is under review with proposal submission and site visit completed, REC and Stage-I clearance pending. Railway clearance is in progress with concept plan, site visit, and GAD submission completed; Railway approval is awaited. Wildlife clearance is not required, but Waterway clearance is pending.
