Land Acquisition for Industrial Expansion in Bihar

Bihar is set to expand its industrial area network with the acquisition of 2,627 acres of land at a cost of ?812 crore, following Cabinet approval. The plan includes 991 acres in Begusarai at ?351 crore and 500 acres in Patna at ?219 crore. Additionally, 1,300 acres will be acquired in Dobhi, Gaya district, to develop an Integrated Manufacturing Cluster under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor Project, aiming to boost investment opportunities and employment generation in the state.
