Secunderabad Cantonment Gets Rs. 303-Crore Infra Compensation Plan

The Secunderabad Cantonment Board will receive Rs. 303 crore in compensation for land allocated to Telangana’s elevated corridor projects. The Ministry of Defence approved using the funds for local infrastructure upgrades, including a new underground sewerage network and drainage works at Hasmathpet and Patny under the SNDP plan. Implemented by HMWSSB, GHMC, and HMDA, the works aim to improve sanitation and flood prevention across the cantonment area.
