Telangana awards Rs. 319.24 crore contract for new Mir Alam bridge

Telangana has awarded KNR Constructions a Rs. 319.24 crore EPC contract to build a cable-stayed bridge across Mir Alam Tank. The structure will form Hyderabads second cable-stayed bridge after Durgam Cheruvu and is part of the Musi Riverfront Development Project. The bridge will ease congestion between Shastripuram and Chintalmet and integrate with wider riverfront works focused on flood control, environmental restoration, and mobility upgrades. The project cost is 4.89% higher than initial estimates.
