NTPC Renewable Energy Begins Power Supply from Khavda Solar Project

NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced commercial power supply from 75.50 MW of its Khavda-I Solar PV project in Gujarat. The capacity is part of the larger 1,255 MW installation under CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. With this addition, NTPCs total installed generation capacity has reached 84,924 MW. The project was declared operational on 19 November 2025 and forms part of NTPCs revised long-term plan to scale its capacity to 149 GW by 2032 and 244 GW by 2037.
