Expansion of Bhilai Steel Plant Capacities

Steel Authority of India has proposed expansion of the Bhilai Steel Plant at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, increasing hot metal capacity from 7.5 MTPA to 8.8 MTPA, crude steel capacity from 7.0 MTPA to 8.3 MTPA, and finished steel capacity from 6.3 MTPA to 7.55 MTPA.
