Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board has proposed expansion of an existing EWS housing project comprising 969 tenements at S.F. No. 207/1, Vallam Village, Thanjavur Taluk, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu. The project had earlier received environmental clearance, and the current proposal involves addition of amenities such as a ration shop and a community hall, resulting in an increase in built-up area and requiring expansion in environmental clearance.
