Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation has proposed the Chhitapandariya dolomite mining project over 326.167 ha of forest land near Village Chhitapandariya, Tehsil Jaijaipur, District Sakti, Chhattisgarh. The project has a production capacity of 2.41 million TPA, with total excavation comprising soil at 0.013 MTPA, overburden at 0.40 MTPA, dolomite mineral at 1.8 MTPA and inter-burden at 0.2 MTPA, along with installation of two crushing and screening plants of 500 TPH each. The project forms part of an environmental clearance proposal.
