Under-Construction Indore-Khandwa NH-347BG Scheduled for 2026 Opening

NHAI has scheduled the full commercial opening of the under-construction Indore-Khandwa NH-347BG national highway for December 2026. A critical component of the infrastructure project is the Bherughat bypass, which is being built to eliminate difficult curves along the complex ghat section and is slated for completion by July 2026. The project is prioritized by the district administration to handle high-volume transit flows ahead of Simhastha 2028.
