MAHAGENCO REL Invites Bids for 175 MW Solar Expansion Across Maharashtr

MAHAGENCO Renewable Energy Limited has issued a tender to lease 700 acres of land for developing seven grid-connected solar power projects of 25 MW each across Maharashtra. The project involves leasing seven 100-acre parcels for 30 years, focusing on sites with high solar irradiance and proximity to substations. The scope includes land preparation, Right-of-Way clearances, and development of 33 kV transmission infrastructure for grid connectivity. The initiative aims to improve regional grid stability and accelerate solar capacity addition through decentralized project development.
