BS Sponge Proposes Integrated Greenfield Steel Project at Nawapara

BS Sponge has proposed a large integrated greenfield steel project at Nawapara Unit I comprising pellet plant, producer gas plants, sponge iron, billet production through induction furnace and electric arc furnace routes, rolling mill, coal washery, ferro alloy units, briquetting, jigging, sinter plant, AOD facility, industrial gas units, slag crusher and captive power generation through WHRB and CFBC units totaling 200 MW. The proposal is under environmental clearance consideration.
