Korba Power Proposes Phase III Expansion of Thermal Power Plant in Chhattisgarh

Korba Power has proposed expansion of its thermal power project by addition of 2×800 MW ultra super critical units under Phase III within the existing plant area across Villages Saragbundia, Dhandhani, Paladi, Khordal, Pahanda and Pathadi in Tehsil Kartala, District Korba, Chhattisgarh. The existing facility includes operational 2×300 MW Phase I units and under construction 2×660 MW Phase II units. The proposal is under environmental clearance consideration.
