New Ferro Alloy Units Installation at Steel Plant

Chhattisgarh Steel & Power has proposed installation of additional ferro alloy units comprising 2×9 MVA and 2×18 MVA furnaces with production capacities including FeSi – 42,000 TPA, FeMn – 1,20,000 TPA, SiMn – 84,000 TPA, FeCr – 84,000 TPA and pig iron – 1,20,000 TPA, at its facility located at Amjhar Village, Champa Tehsil, Janjgir-Champa district. Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed ferro alloy expansion.
