The Sion Railway Flyover Reconstruction Project is a Rs 60 crore infrastructure initiative to replace a 100-year-old bridge with a modern 61-meter, four-lane structure linking the Eastern Express Highway and LBS Marg. Jointly executed by the BMC and Central Railway, the project involves installing massive steel girders and widened approach roads, with the final completion deadline now set for July 15, 2026, following girder-launching adjustments.
